Purpose:
The Slotted Spray Nozzle model "Water Shield" is designed for group protection of personnel of fire protection units and equipment working in areas of strong thermal radiation, by creating a protective water curtain (screen) in the form of a vertical fan-shaped spray jet. The water curtain allows personnel and equipment to be in close proximity to the fire, increasing the effectiveness of fire extinguishing.
An important area of using a slot sprayer is the elimination of emergency situations associated with the spill of highly toxic substances (HTS) or the release of their vapors. A finely dispersed stream of water curtain, covering the vapor cloud, provides both the neutralization of the liquid itself and absorbs and neutralizes the HTS vapors.
Water is supplied to the slot sprayer by means of a fire pressure hose with a diameter of 51 mm and a GR-50 hose head.
The slot sprayer is manufactured according to TU 48548-009-66859250-2016

The slot sprayer is simple in design and reliable in operation. The warranty period is 12 months from the date of putting the product into operation. The established service life is at least 10 years from the date of delivery to the consumer. The product is not subject to mandatory certification. The delivery set includes the Operation Manual and the Passport.
The slot sprayer is included in the “Standards for the provision of fire-fighting equipment and emergency rescue equipment for main and special fire trucks” of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.
