Purpose
The protective helmet for rescuers TYTAN type HOT (hereinafter referred to as the helmet) can be used during rescue operations on roads, on water, in the mountains, including during evacuation from a natural and man-made disaster zone, for example, during evacuation from a fire zone.
Materials
The materials from which the helmet is made provide protection against injuries and wounds caused by mechanical impact of falling objects, objects with sharp edges and their fragments, short-term contact with open flame and liquid chemicals.
The high level of protection requirements are ensured by the helmet body, which is made of ABS plastic.
Design
The ventilation system (two positions: "Open" or "Closed") allows for comfortable working conditions in various working conditions. The helmet provides protection in the temperature range from minus 20 °C to plus 50 °C.
The internal harness design allows for adjustment of head circumference from 52 to 66 cm in 5 mm increments. The chin strap has 2 adjustment points with an easy-to-fasten buckle and allows the user to adjust the helmet to fit securely on the head.
The weight of the helmet without additional equipment is 700 ±20 g.
Additionally
The helmet design allows the following additional equipment to be placed on the helmet:
- protective glasses;
- a cape to protect the neck;
- headphones;
- multifunctional holders for installing a breathing mask and a flashlight or for installing a breathing mask, a flashlight and a face shield (visor).
