Rescue catamaran models KR2 (for 2 people - rescuer and rescued or two rescuers) and KR3 (for 3 people - two rescuers and rescued or three rescuers) - is designed to perform special work in the area of solving emergency rescue tasks (rescue, search or insurance on water/ice, transportation of people, technical equipment and materials).
The use of two pontoons in the design ensures high stability of the catamaran. Movement on water occurs with the help of a standard engine or two oars, and on ice - due to the muscular strength of the rescuer walking between the pontoons.
The catamaran has a bright red color, which is visible against the background of ice and water. Each pontoon of the catamaran has blue and white lights, and along the sides of the pontoons there are reflective stripes for work in limited visibility and at night.
The deployment time of the catamaran by two rescuers is up to one minute. The catamaran is compactly folded and has a special suspension for fastening to a fire or emergency rescue vehicle.
