Controlled telescopic adapters EXTEND-A-GUN RC3 (ЭКСТЕНД-Э-ГАН РС3) and EXTEND-A-GUN RC4 (ЭКСТЕНД-Э-ГАН РС4) are designed for installing a monitor nozzle on a fire truck.
The telescopic adapter allows the barrel to be raised to a height of 457 mm from the transport position by pressing just one button on the autonomous control panel. The autonomous control panel allows the monitor barrel to be controlled at a distance of up to 4 m from the vehicle.
The monitor nozzle mounted on this adapter can freely rotate 360 degrees in the horizontal plane.
The diameters of the input sections of the adapters are:
EXTEND-A-GUN RC3 – 75 mm;
EXTEND-A-GUN RC4 – 100 mm.
The body is made of anodized aluminum with a steel protective casing.
There is a built-in sensor for signaling the "Monitor nozzle in the raised position" state. Waterproof motor housing for 12 V or 24 V.
The main stationary remote control unit of the monitor nozzle is designed to control the monitor nozzle at a distance. External energy is supplied to it and a wireless control panel can be connected. All commands from this control unit have a higher priority than commands from the control unit installed on the nozzle itself. The kit includes a 3-meter power cable.
An additional remote control unit for the monitor nozzle is designed for duplicate connection to the main control unit.
The additional unit kit includes a 9-meter cable to provide power to the console and control the monitor nozzle.
The wired remote control for the monitor nozzle provides control of the nozzle via a connecting cable line at a distance of 9 or 30 meters (along the length of the standard connecting cable).
All commands from this control unit have a higher priority than commands from the control unit installed on the gun carriage itself.
The wireless remote control for the monitor nozzle provides control of the monitor nozzle at a distance of up to 152 m from it.
The remote control is powered by NiCd batteries, and the charger also acts as a remote control holder.
To operate, it is necessary to connect the receiving device to the main control unit using a 3-meter connecting cable.
