The Windshield Saw combination hand tool is used in emergency rescue operations following road accidents. It helps provide access to occupants of the crashed vehicle and prepare openings for safe evacuation.
The tool is designed for cutting shatterproof windshields, removing other vehicle glass, and sharp edges from broken glass in the front, side, and rear openings.
Tool design
The product consists of a handle , a punch , a body , and a cutting element . This arrangement allows the tool to be used not only for cutting glass but also for auxiliary operations when opening body parts of damaged vehicles.
The handle is equipped with a glass punch, an upper and lower row of teeth for fixing the punch, a cutting and striking surface and a groove for breaking the glass edge.
