The SHKP is designed to protect the head, face, and eyesight of a firefighter and rescuer from hazardous factors that arise during firefighting and all types of work performed by personnel of fire and rescue units.
The weight of the helmet is no more than 1.6 kg.
Color - luminescent.
A luminescent helmet coating is a luminescent paint applied to the helmet's hood. The helmet glows in the dark after absorbing daylight from natural or artificial sources.
The firefighter's helmet consists of
- a body on the sides of which brackets are installed for placing lights in the upper and lower parts of the helmet, a breathing apparatus mask (SIZOD) and a lever for raising and lowering the glasses;
- face shield (transparent), retractable inward;
- built-in protective glasses (transparent), retractable inside;
- internal equipment, smoothly adjustable for head circumference within the range of sizes 54–62 cm and ensuring comfortable use of the helmet;
- capes;
- signal elements located on the sides and back of the helmet.
The SHKP complies with the Technical Regulations on fire safety requirements and GOST R 53269-2009 and TU 4854-008-66859250-2016
