The firefighter's helmet (SHPS mod. 028-2021) is an individual means of protection and is designed to provide protection for the head, neck and face of a person from mechanical and thermal impacts, aggressive environments, surface-active substances (SAS) during fire extinguishing and emergency rescue operations, as well as from adverse climatic influences. SHPS is manufactured in the UHL climatic version and retains protective and operational properties in the temperature range caused by climatic influences from minus 60 °C to plus 50 °C.
Standards

Composition of the product.
The SHPS consists of the following structural elements:
a) body;
b) face shield;
c) internal fittings that allow adjustment of the head circumference and the depth of the helmet on the head;
d) adjustable chin strap;
d) cape (in three types of execution: art. A, art. B, art. C).
Smooth adjustment of the head circumference is made within the range from 54 to 62 sizes using a wheel installed at the back on the adjustment tape.
Technical specifications
1. The mass of the assembled SHPS is no more than 1500 ±50 g.
2. The SHPS is resistant to the effects of:
a) temperature 150 °C for 30 min., 200 °C for 5 min.;
b) heat flow with a capacity of 5 kW/m2 (40 kW/m2) for at least 4 min (5 s);
c) aggressive environments for at least 4 hours: sulfuric acid with a density of 1.21 g/cm3; sodium hydroxide with a density of 1.25 g/cm3; transformer oil with a density of 0.875-0.905 g/cm3; foaming agent according to TU 0258-147-05744685-96 - 6% working solution.
3. The design of the SHPS allows the use of a breathing apparatus mask, two lights - left and/or right, and a heat-resistant balaclava.
4. The SHPS protects against impact loads (puncture) and electric current at voltages up to 400 V.
